Beta & Preview Terms

Rules for features explicitly marked as beta, preview, or experimental on Jettson.dev.

Last updated: May 15, 2026 · Version 1.0

From time to time we make features available in beta or preview. These terms govern your use of those features. They supplement the Terms of Service.

1. What "beta" means

A feature is beta when we mark it as such in the docs, dashboard, API response, or release notes. Beta features are functional enough for evaluation but not production-ready.

2. No warranty, no SLA

Beta features are provided as-is, without any warranty or service level commitment. They are explicitly excluded from the SLA. They may:

  • Change without notice
  • Break, error, or behave unexpectedly
  • Be removed entirely at any time
  • Have undocumented rate limits or quotas
  • Carry pricing that may change before general availability

3. Not for production

We do not recommend using beta features in customer-facing production code paths. If you do, you accept that the feature may be removed or break with no migration window.

4. Feedback license

If you submit feedback about a beta feature — bug reports, suggestions, criticisms, design ideas, or any other input — you grant Jettson a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free license to use that feedback to operate and improve the Service without obligation or compensation. Don't submit anything as feedback that you consider confidential or proprietary.

5. Confidentiality of unreleased features

If a beta feature is explicitly marked confidential or shared with you under NDA, you must not disclose details publicly without our prior written consent. You may always say "I am using Jettson" — but you may not screenshot or describe non-public functionality covered by an NDA.

6. Data treatment

Personal data submitted through a beta feature is processed under the Privacy Policy and (where applicable) the Data Processing Agreement. The general data-handling commitments apply; the specific functionality may not yet have all the controls that GA features have.

7. Liability

Liability for beta features is the same cap as in the Terms of Service. You agree that any losses arising from beta use are your responsibility to mitigate; the appropriate mitigation is don't run unverified beta features in production.
