What cookies and similar technologies Jettson.dev uses and how to control them.

This Cookie Policy explains what cookies are, which ones we use on jettson.dev, and how you can control them. It supplements the Privacy Policy.

A cookie is a small text file a site places on your device to remember information across visits. We also use similar technologies (localStorage, session storage, web beacons) — the same rules and choices apply to all of them.

2. Categories we use

Essential — required to run the site. Authentication session, CSRF tokens, load balancer hints. These cannot be turned off without breaking core functionality. No consent is required.

Functional — preferences such as theme, language, dismissed banners, last-visited page. Off by default; require your consent.

Analytics — aggregate, mostly de-identified data about which pages are visited and how the product is used, so we can find and fix problems. Off by default; require your consent.

Marketing — used to measure the performance of campaigns and (where applicable) to retarget visitors on other platforms. Off by default; require your consent. We do not currently run third-party marketing pixels but we may add them in future; we will not load them without your consent.

If we add analytics or marketing tools in the future, this table will be updated and any new categories will be off by default until you consent.

4. Managing your choices

You can change your preferences any time via the Cookie Settings link in the footer, which reopens the consent banner. You can also clear cookies from your browser settings; on next visit you will be re-prompted.

Browser controls. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings:

Do Not Track & GPC. We do not change behavior based on Do Not Track alone, but we honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal as a CCPA opt-out preference signal. If your browser sends GPC, non-essential cookie categories are pre-set to off.

5. Third-party cookies from sub-processors

Some sub-processors (e.g. Firebase, Stripe, Cloudflare) may set their own cookies when their services run on the page. These cookies are governed by their respective privacy policies. See /sub-processors for the current vendor list and links.

6. Changes to this policy

If we add new cookies or change categories, we will update this page and re-prompt for consent. Continued use after a re-prompt with no new selection is treated as a refusal of non-essential categories.
